SDK Software Engineer, C#, C++

We are recruiting an experienced and talented SDK Software Engineer for a company genuinely pushing the boundaries of sensor technology! Their unique technology brings the sense of touch to touchless interfaces, creating the magical experience of feeling without touching. You now really are able to feel what you are seeing on screen!

The SDK Software Engineer will be a key contributor in a team creating software to interface with and support development on mid-air haptic interfaces on multiple platforms.

As SDK Software Engineer you will be:

oDeveloping and supporting the current SDK - Software Development Kit

oIntegrating the company technology into industry standard tools and languages

oDesigning and building software for a variety of platforms, including Windows, OSX, and Linux

oWorking on products through the full life cycle, turning an initial brief into production ready code

oRemote and on-site support with customers

As SDK Software Engineer you will need the following skills:

oExcellent C++ programming skills

oExperience working with C# and/or Unity

oStrong computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms)

oProven and relevant work experience with a degree in Computer Science or equivalent

oFamiliarity with software build tools, issue tracking, and Git

oExperience interfacing with hardware, e.g. USB

oThe ability to learn fast and work in areas outside of your comfort zone

oAble to meet commitments and timescales under pressure

oExcellent communication and teamwork skills

oSelf-motivated and take full responsibility for solutions
