Job Title: Analyst Programmer

Location: Immingham

Salary: up to £38,000 dependent on experience

The company currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Analyst Programmer to join their team based near Immingham to assist with support across its UK and European sites. They are looking for a high performing and talented individual to provide IT support to the business with regards to IT hardware, applications and network/telephone systems.

The company is a leading supplier of specialist storage, handling and transport for bulk liquids and gases, with one of the most comprehensive ranges of tankage in Europe. They are a wholly owned subsidiary of a much larger Canadian business, and has business activities in the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, and Germany.

The Responsibilities

* Analysis of business requirements

* Design and document proposed solution to be agreed with IT management and customer

* Development of solution using programming skills identified below.

* Testing of developed software prior to release in production environment

* Implementation and software release including:-

1 Communication with customer

2 End user training

* Support bespoke software and provide documentation to IT support staff

* Investigate new development tools and adapt new technologies and methodologies

Essential Skills & Experience

Qualifications

* Degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Experience

* Minimum 2 years in software development

* Experience in business analysis (preferable)

Skill Set

* Software development using:-

1 C#

2 Visual Studio

3 Web forms/ASP. net

4 Delphi (preferable)

5 JavaScript

* Microsoft SQL Server

* Team Foundation Server

* Agile project methodology

* Good communication skills

* Produce technical and user documentation
