A leading consultancy which specialises in the telecommunications space are searching for a Network engineer with extensive experience within Network support and implementation.

The successful candidate will be critical in finding technical solutions to a variety of issues that may arise

and as of a result if this they must have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Also the candidate will require good experience with dealing with customers,

As a member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for the support, troubleshooting, design, documentation

and deployment of customer connectivity within a Global Service Provider IP/MPLS Backbone network.

Your primary focus is supporting solutions of large-scale IPSec and MPLS VPN, and

TDM/Ethernet based services.

Strong experience with MPLS, BGP, OSPF and EIGRP

WAN LAN

You will also provide 2nd and 3rd level operational support for incident resolution, and leadership over

critical operational maintenance as well as excellent customer service and client facing skills to discuss service related issues..

Run network projects from inception to implementation stages.

Provide training for operations departments and other engineers.

Provide written troubleshooting, debugging and problem detail to vendors..

Will carry out any other duties as may be requested from time to time to meet operational

needs.

In order to be suitable for this Network Engineer role you must have: -

Excellent communications skills both verbal and written

Routing and Switching experience CISCO CCNA, CCNP R+S, CCNP

Firewall experience with either, CISCO, Nokia Checkpoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto,

Experience with architecture and provisioning of solutions within MPLS, WAN, LAN

environments including Traffic Engineering, Carrier Ethernet, MPLS L2 and L3 VPN

Firewall, Load balancing, Strong customer and client facing skills.
