Location: Newcastle-upon-Tyne

Travel: Possibility for travel to client sites throughout the UK

Senior Analyst: £31,424 - £37,500

Specialist / Team Lead: £36,725 - £42,700

What responsibilities will you have?

Successful candidates will be responsible for providing functional, design and development expertise across multiple customer engagements for the following SAP modules - HR, ABAP, BW / BI, Basis.

As a part of the team, you will take on challenging project work - designing, building and supporting technical solutions for clients.

Qualifications

What skills & experience are we looking for?

Successful candidates will have experience in one or more of the following areas:

SAP HR

·2nd / 3rd level support experience

·FI-TR Travel Management, PA (Personnel Administration), OM (Organisational Management), PD (Personnel Development) - Appraisals, ESS/MSS, knowledge of HR Renewal, UI5 useful, Patching: OSS Notes, CLCs and HRSPs

·Integration to other SAP components - ALE/IDOCs, PI (Exchange Infrastructure) and Portals, BW (Business Warehouse), FI/CO (Finance and Controlling)

·Experience of Incident Management, Change Request management, Problem Management, Configuration and enhancements.

·Experience of writing Functional and Technical Specifications, preparing Test scripts and Testing using HPQC.

·Stakeholder management skills

·Experience of large and complex SAP implementation

·Good knowledge of ESS / MSS

·Understanding of Workflow and ABAP debugging knowledge is plus

SAP ABAP

·Experience with ABAP Objects, SAP Script, Smart forms, Adobe forms, BADIs, report writing, BDC, Proxy for PI, Interface development, BAPIs & RFCs, User exits, ALE, EDI, IDOCS, Webdynpro, GUI dialog programming

·Good understanding of SAP workflow

·Ability to work with the functional module team members to manage any proposed changes or enhancements to agreed scope.

·Good working experience with the following SAP modules - FI, CO, SD, MM, HR, SRM, BI would be preferred

SAP BW / BI

·BW and BPS experience within SAP ECC6 & SRM

·Experience in ODS Activation, Infocube & Aggregates loads, cube compression activities

·Experience in data loading, master data change integration with third party

·Provide support to the users for Web & Bex query execution & resolve issues in BW Broadcasting used for MPS

·Experience in Global Planning Functions in BPS, and changing variable values in Planning Areas, process chains involving planning functions during Month End and Year End activities

SAP BASIS

· Basis Support experience within SAP ECC6, SAP SRM, SAP Solution Manager, SAP XI/PI, BW, SAP NetWeaver and SAP Content Server

·DB management skills using SAP tools

·Using standard SAP tools to enable patching, upgrades and installations

·Methodical and detailed approach to analysing, debugging and problem solving.

·Understanding of base operating system (Unix, Windows)
