Role: Permanent Software Developer
Location: Manchester
Salary: TBC
We are looking for both a Senior Software Developer and a Junior Software Engineer who will be responsible for implementing high quality software components in accordance with project requirements and overall system architecture. The role will include:
*Monitoring and maintaining modularity of system Architectures.
*Analysing and making recommendations on development tools.
*Applying Agile methodology to the development cycle: Scrum (Confluence based) and Agile
*Producing innovative design against challenging user and performance requirements
*Ensuring design proposals are reviewed and approved by appropriate review authorities at each stage of the implementation and its evolution
*Providing prototypes where appropriate to explore and verify design proposals
*Implementing approved designs and ensuring adherence to product quality and acceptance criteria
*Ensuring all code is fully unit tested and documented
*Assisting with the administration and resolution of support and maintenance issues
Requirements -
*Considerable recent development experience in Javascript (client and server side).
*Single page app development using a client side MVC framework such as Angular.
*Development of RESTful Web APIs.
*Exposure to the development of innovative cloud based applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Azure
*Considerable object oriented design and software architecture experience
*Configuration management knowledge (Git)
