An exciting opportunity has come up within an established yet rapidly growing IoT company based in Cambridge. We are seeking an experienced Software Tools Developer with excellent database knowledge to join the team and work on developing the software suites.

As Software Tools Developer you will have proven experience of delivering software based products and be able to demonstrate technical expertise in one or more areas. You'll be enthusiastic about developing breadth as well depth in your career and not be afraid to work across boundaries and disciplines. This role would suit a Software Engineer that has excellent database knowledge, ideally experienced with SQL, as well as being able to demonstrate a solid understanding of C#, Java or Python.

As Software Tools Developer you will:

?Design, develop, test, release and maintain the production tools

?Keep the production servers running to support manufacturing, including maintaining the databases and related processes

?Design, implement and maintain system health monitoring systems

?End-to-end provision of the connected systems on to the various cloud & production databases (evolving the tools to make this easier)

?Monitoring the health of the system, and providing metrics as needed

As Software Tools Developer you will have:

?A number of relevant years of software tools development experience

?C# programming experience, as well as Java or Python - ideally

?Relational databases & SQL in a performance sensitive environment

?Development in a Windows environment

?A basic understanding of Cryptography

?Experience in a structured agile environment with proven ability to estimate and deliver to those estimates
