Department for Education are looking for a Head of Programme Management Office to become a member of the Leadership Team for the Priority School Building Programme (PSBP). You will be working with PSBP Programme Director and the wider PSBP team to deliver on this challenging, innovative and exciting programme. You will be responsible for 3 service areas - Data and Systems; Programme Planning and Performance; Programme Governance and Communications. You will also be responsible for regular reporting to the Steering Group and Programme Board, alongside line managerial responsibilities for 4 G7 staff and a team of 23 delivery staff.

We want people who are passionate about providing professional services and want to make the Department a great place to work. You will have a sharp analytical mind and be used to working with complex data. You will have significant experience of working on large projects and programmes with an MSP/PRINCE2 qualification or equivalent. You will have proven leadership experience in a programme management office with ability to demonstrate experience of managing projects whilst coaching, training and mentoring others in key practices and tools.
