£300 - £350 per day

Minimum 6 Month contract

Pearson Frank are currently working in partnership with a local Consultancy who are searching for Java Software Developers to assist with a very fast growing work load due to winning a number of projects, the contracts are 6 month contract with possible extensions and an immediate start. Contract rates on offer are between £300 - £350 per day.

As a contract developer within the Software Delivery Team you will have the opportunity help the team deliver great software in a fast paced, dynamic and agile environment where change is the norm and they release software to the business every two weeks.

The successful applicant can expect to do the following:

* Work with the team to design, develop and test software using a variety of technologies.

* Promote technical excellence in the team by developing clean and well tested code.

* Actively participate in an agile environment that promotes collaboration and communication.

The successful candidate will ideally have extensive commercial experience with the following tools and technologies:

* The Java programming language

* Application servers such as Tomcat and JBoss

* Version control systems such as Subversion and GIT

* Web technologies including JavaScript, JQuery, HTML, CSS and JSON

* XML, XSD and XSLT

* SOAP and RESTful web services in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
