With over 12,000 members of staff, of which 3,500 have full access to IT systems, you’ll never be without a challenge.
Reporting into the Business Systems Manager, you’ll oversee the management of three teams providing application support, business systems analysis and the Intranet - all of which include SaaS (Software as a Service), applications and services. The teams are all based in our London head office in Woolwich, but as the company continues to grow, there may be expansion of these teams into other UK regions which you will also manage. Our business applications are integral to the successful customer and staff service delivery of our business, therefore we need an Applications Manager who is up-to-date with the latest innovations and trends in the ICT sphere and who can recognise value for money.
You will have excellent working knowledge of the following:

ERP solutions and other lines of business applications

As an experienced Applications Manager, you’ll thrive on variety and always be prepared for the unexpected, providing support and solutions when needed. You’ll be used to working to deadlines and with an ever-changing landscape at GLL, you’ll never have time to sit on your laurels. With proven successful delivery of small to medium IT projects, you’ll need to have a keen sense of business protocols and processes and how these are applied to systems. You’ll be a good team-player and work with other members of our IT team to provide joined-up solutions across the business.
In return, we’ll offer a range of benefits and all the support you’d expect from an award-winning national employer including: pension scheme, ride to work scheme, subsidised membership to our leisure centres and gyms, training & development opportunities, childcare vouchers and access to company villas to name a few.
