A leading manufacturing company are looking for a Software Developer with commercial experience in a Microsoft stack environment using C#, Visual Studio, Entity and .NET Frameworks
Scope of work:
To be responsible for the detailed design, implementation, integration and testing of software components.
Key Job Accountabilities:
* Converting system requirements into software component designs
* Implementing and unit-testing of software component
* Involvement in frequent peer reviews of designs, documents, and code as both reviewer and reviewe
* System integration (of hardware and software components) and system testing
* Production and maintenance of technical and end user documentation
Required experience
* Industrial experience in software development within a quality-conscious environment.
* Fluent in C# (Framework 4.0+) through professional use and Visual Studio 2010 / 2013 / 2015 development environment. Experience with TFS.
* Familiar with use of patterns and .NET frameworks (Entity Framework, MEF, PRISM, WCF) in construction of large and complex software applications.
* Familiar with common modelling / design approaches - UML
* Use of WPF and general user interface design
* Experience of using version control, change control and code quality control processes
* Experience of working in environments where regular builds, unit tests and integration testing are the norm and ability to contribute to these activities
Essential:
* C# and .NET framework, EF & MEF
* Visual Studio & TFS
* WPF and User Interface Design
* Unit Testing
Desirable:
* Experience with UML, Enterprise Architect
* Insight into SCADA systems and PLC control, specifically WinCCOA and TIA / Step7
