A rare chance for a Software Development Team Lead to join an illustrious, multi-national company turning over £4billion has arisen in Chesterfield! Technology stack includes .NET, C#, C++, MFC, MSSQL,MySQL, Agile, Scrum.

You will be leading a global software team setting the vision for the development of next generation industrial software solutions. The software team is primarily responsible for analysis software presenting data to customers from the companies range of temperature and environmental monitoring sensors, however you will provide oversight of firmware development as appropriate.

In this role, you will be a hands-on developer as well as managing a team of off-shore colleagues and UK based contractors. You will also take the lead in ensuring the software function is compliant with our ISO 9001 approved quality procedures.

You'll be working closely alongside the Technical Director and Director of Product Management to plan and execute projects, managing the complete software development life cycle, remote managing a development team in India and providing leadership to the UK team!

If you have experience in the below areas, I'd be keen to hear from you:

Circa 5 years' experience in a software development engineering management position.

Proven track record of successful delivery of software applications as an individual, team leader and/or development manager.

Experience developing Windows applications for the .NET framework using C#.

Experience developing software using C++ and MFC.

Understanding of relational databases (MSSQL, MySQL etc)

Experience with Scrum methodology and Agile practices

The salary for this Software Development Team Lead role is between £55,000 to £65,000 as well as a myriad of great benefits!
