Software DevOps Engineer, C# / Windows

An excellent opportunity has come up for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join an expanding company in London where you will be involved in computer vision technology. This client has had an exceptional year and is looking at expanding the business further throughout 2017.

As the DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of software quality by designing, developing and improving the existing software test harness. You will be implementing and improving monitoring and analytics to maintain the live systems at

venues in London and further afield. You will work with the software development team to continuously improve the software applications, server tools and supporting applications. You will identify and assist in fixing software bugs, network problems and any system issues that

arise during live operations, respond to support requests in a timely manner and offer solutions to site technicians.

You should be a competent C# Software Application Engineer with an enthusiastic and sociable personality, and a passion for delivering quality software. You should be able to use your development experience to design and build bespoke test and monitoring applications to maintain the high standards of quality, robustness and uptime. The DevOps Engineer will have experience of developing and deploying software into mission critical environments running on multiple PCs and servers in multiple locations.

As DevOps Engineer you will have:

? Broad experience in test, delivery, maintenance of software systems

? Software Quality Testing

? C# Windows application development (Winforms, Sockets)

? A few years commercial/industrial experience relevant to the role

It would be beneficial if the DevOps Engineer had any of the following skills:

? Network & Server security

? Continuous integration

? Octopus Deploy

? MySQL

? DreamFactory

? Imaging technology; Cameras & image processing
