The role

As part of a four-strong team, you’ll help Clarks grow by meeting all kinds of business challenges. The first step is to talk to colleagues and get the lowdown on what they want. You’ll work with teams in Retail and across our Group functions, and get a clear sense of their requirements. You’ll then use modern tools and techniques to create solutions that add real value. It’s all about reducing costs, improving efficiency and innovating where you can. Whether you’re enhancing existing systems or coming up with new ideas, you’ll bring fresh, creative thinking and strive for more improvements. You’ll also pride yourself on excellence and apply the highest standards. That means methodical testing, ease of development and seamless implementation. All in all, you’ll be a great role model for all our Trainee Analysts.

About you

With solid experience of both IT Operations and Development, you’ll have Microsoft .NET accreditation, involvement in at least three Application Development lifecycles and two full System Project lifecycles involving some of the following technologies: MVC, Bootstrap, Entity Framework, HTML, Javascript, CSS. Your career exposure will include ITIL practices and Agile Development. You’ll be well versed in the Tools of the Trade: Visual Studio, MS SQL, Bitbucket (or similar), Azure (or similar). Crucially, you have a natural gift for teamwork, the confidence to collaborate and to challenge ways of working.
