Senior Software Engineer - Edinburgh

My true market leading SME has an exceptional opening for a Software Engineer to join them on a permanent basis from their Edinburgh office.

The client's platform hosts over 3 million unique users per month, utilising a highly-concurrent and loosely coupled system that scales at an exceptionally rapid rate at peak times. They are looking for someone with previous experience in a senior developer capacity engineering a highly-available platform, and use to dealing with issues around scalability.

The client will consider candidates with 3+ year's commercial full-stack software engineering experience. Whilst they are primarily using Scala, JavaScript and Ruby, they will consider candidates with experience in other stacks with a strong computer science/mathematical background and the willingness to learn new languages.
