C# Software Developer

Salary up to £70,000

An exciting new position has arisen with a leading company based in the East London tech city, due to expansion they are seeking a C# Software Developer with experience to join the team.

As a C# Software Engineer you will be involved in all aspects of software design for a new and state of the art mobile device. You will be responsible for the development and successful implementation of innovative high quality software throughout the whole life cycle. You will be expected to write high quality and performance code, working closely with other team members to engineer software that enables cutting-edge features. You will be proactive when issues are reported and enjoy the R&D and resolution of these issues.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the rapid growth of the business and be part of the core technical team. The environment is goal oriented, dynamic and agile.

Key Responsibilities for the C# Software Developer:

*Developing code for the company devices

*Developing web services and making modifications to our server side infrastructure to support new mobile features

*Concept and technical specification of new products, or new functions within products

*Implementation, unit testing, debugging and documentation of software

*Software error correction during system regression tests, support of test team.

*Support and maintenance of development infrastructure

*Analysis and development of new technologies/concepts

*Integrating with new hardware

As C# Software Developer you will have:

*Ability to write excellent C# code and adhere to best programming practices

*Driven to create great systems and proactively solve problems

*Solid .NET knowledge and commercial experience with C#, including Compact Framework

*Windows CE development

*A good Computer Science or Engineering Degree, or equivalent

*LINQ, data access patterns, XML, Sqlite

*Multi-threading

*HTTP, networking

*Ability to work independently or take direction when necessary; work in dynamic and agile environment

*Hardware interfacing

*Smartcards, modems

*Real-time environments

*C++
