Job Title: Support Analyst (2 positions available)

Location: Liverpool

Salary: £10-£11 per hour

Job Type: Full Time, Fixed Term Contract (6 months)

About the role

In this varied role as a Support Analyst in the Land Services division, your goal will be the delivery of detailed, high quality land ownership information to their clients. You will manage data provided by their clients and collected by their Land Consultants, ensuring it is of the highest quality. Their clients develop major highway, rail, energy and water infrastructure for which they need Government approval. You will work as part of a team of GIS, 3D, Software Development and Data Management staff that ensure their clients have all the information they need to ensure their developments breeze through the planning process.

You will provide support to the project owner by undertaking technical elements of projects on time, within budget and to the agreed standards.

Principal accountabilities include:

* Provide first line support for custom built PinPoint System

* Analyse and identify technical issues, taking ownership until resolution

* Cleansing and migration of data collected from external sources

* Producing data extracts for their clients and partners

* Prioritise workload to ensure tasks are delivered on time and to budget.

The role will be a 6 month placement in the Liverpool office and would suit a graduate in a mathematical or computer related degree. The role has the potential to be extended or become a fulltime role for the right candidate.

About you

Our Client is looking for a self-motivated individual; a good team player, strong work ethic and an eye for detail, quality and accuracy even under pressure.

You should be confident or have experience of:

* MS Access & Excel

* Querying Relational databases using SQL

* Stored Procedures and Functions

* Programming languages or debugging software

* Experience of any programming language such as C# would be beneficial. As would an appreciation of Xml and its uses.

* You should also be fluent in written and verbal English.
