As Information Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring NHS Improvement achieves its aims to oversee and support foundation trusts, NHS trusts and independent providers to give patients consistently safe, high quality, compassionate care within local health systems that are financially sustainable.

In order to achieve our aims NHS Improvement needs to be supported by highly skilled, highly motivated and dedicated teams of Information Analysts. Information and evidence are the lifeblood of the organisation and we are now looking to bring new people into the organisation to help us achieve these aims.

In your role as an Information Analyst, with supervision and support from senior colleagues, you will work to deliver a high quality data analytics service with a focus on building self-service analytics solutions, which will allow business users to analyse data themselves.

You will also assist senior colleagues in researching emerging analytics tools and technologies and contribute to putting forward options and recommendations on how NHS Improvement can take advantage of relevant tools and technologies to become a high-performing insight-driven organisation.

If you:

Are degree educated in a relevant numerate or analytical subject;

Are passionate about using your analytical skills to make a real difference to patient care and patient experience;

Have a good aptitude for analytics and technology i.e. data management, business intelligence and analytics - data modelling, data visualisation (e.g. Tableau, Qlik), data blending (e.g. Alteryx, SSIS), statistical software (e.g. SAS, SPSS, R), SQL, etc.
