Business Analyst - R2R required for a global client based in London

This position will be responsible to lead and oversee the roll out Record to Report (R2R) projects for Markets. Additionally the incumbent will be responsible for the ongoing evolution of the core IS R2R Solutions in line with evolving business needs and will act as the custodian of the core template and solution landscape as directed by management.

You will be working closely with Deployment leads, IS regional leads, country IS Managers and various stakeholders in ensuring deployment of Global R2R processes. You will work closely with IS Security to ensure that the R2R solutions meet the Global IS Standards.

Key Tasks

Stage gate check during project life cycle for all Market where projects are being run

Prepare weekly/monthly consolidated updates during project life cycle

Work closely with the Deployment manager to ensure timely completion of IS related activities in project.

Work closely with vendor resources to get design, development and testing done for IS solutions

Assist in preparing Business Cases for Markets before the Projects are Kick started and monitoring the benefits post Go-Live

Skills and experience needed;

* Strong knowledge on Record to Report end-to-end business Processes & associated solutions

* Sound Understanding of asset management, period close, general reconciliation, Intercompany, management and statuary reporting processes

* Sound understanding of finance master data required to support R2R processes

* Strong in Project management - PMP certification desirable

* Experience in leading any R2R project using SAP tools (FI and AM).

* Exposure to reporting tool like HFM will be added advantage.

* Understanding of JDE financials will be an added advantage

* In-depth knowledge on ERP system especially on Finance/Reporting

* Advance knowledge on excel or BI tool will be an added advantage to support with reporting and analysis

* Knowledge of excel Macros and VB Scripts / SQL Query Analyzer will be added advantage

* Graduate level (BE or equivalent qualification) - Post Graduate Desirable
