Telecoms Field Installation Engineer

£20,000 - £26,000 + Bonus + Overtime + Pension + Life Assurance

Manchester, home based with local travel

Are you experienced in the installation of telecoms equipment and looking for an exciting opportunity offering training and long term progression?

This role is with a major player in the utilities market and is working in the exciting fibre to the home network.

This position will focus on the installation and maintenance of equipment deployed in the FTTH network. This is a home-based position to work in Greater Manchester Area.

Therefore tasks will include:

1.Install, commission and support GPON, FIRS, Sky STB and District Heat Metering communication equipment.

2.Act as first responder to GPON, FIRS and District Heat Metering communication equipment faults.

3.Diagnosing on site faults and implementing the desired fix in accordance to the Service Level Agreement.

To apply for this position you should have:

*Hands on experience in installation and commissioning of telecommunication equipment

*Experience in fault finding on a telecommunication network

*Experience with access networks, either DSL or fibre based.
