As Senior Information Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring NHS Improvement achieves its aims to oversee and support foundation trusts, NHS trusts and independent providers to give patients consistently safe, high quality, compassionate care within local health systems that are financially sustainable.

In order to achieve our aims NHS Improvement needs to be supported by highly skilled, highly motivated and dedicated teams of information analysts. Information and evidence are the lifeblood of the organisation and we are now looking to bring new people into the organisation to help us achieve these aims.

In your role as a Senior Information Analyst you will work with minimal supervision to deliver a high quality data analytics service using extensive knowledge of NHS data and business processes. Using your excellent technical skills in data management, business intelligence and analytics you will focus on building self-service analytics solutions which will allow business users to analyse data themselves.

You will also work collaboratively to take part in research on emerging analytics tools and technologies and contribute to putting forward options and recommendations on how NHS Improvement can take advantage of relevant tools and technologies to become a high-performing insight-driven organisation.

Have extensive knowledge of data visualisation (e.g. Tableau, Qlik), data blending (e.g. Alteryx, SSIS), statistical software (e.g. SAS, SPSS, R), SQL, etc.
