IT Project Manager for an ambitious individual

Are you an up and coming project manager who can hit the ground running? Are you able to handle different & exciting software and infrastructure projects of various sizes? If so this opportunity could ideal for you! An established financial firm based in the heart of Nottingham are looking for an eager and hungry IT Project Manager to join this growing team! This is a brand new role as the firm don't have enough capacity to deliver their current project pipeline.

The company are well established though interestingly have a lot of new blood in the team which has really energised the business. They are still growing and have been pushing forward in a competitive market. They are not afraid to act if you want to bring new ideas to the table and you will have a great chance to make your voice heard.

Having already had your feet under the table with experience in project management, you will be able to manage a number of different projects from conception to delivery. They are looking for someone who may be looking for their second Project management role and ready to prove themselves in a fast environment. There will be numerous new projects of differing sizes which you will be able to sink your teeth into covering software development, IT security, infrastructure and networking and also data related projects.

We require someone who is willing to learn and who wishes to hone their skills and really show off their potential. You will ideally hold a relevant certification (PMP, Prince2) alongside a proven track record of relevant delivery processes. The company currently follow a Waterfall methodology and are looking for someone who is ideally based in the financial services sector or someone who has experience of a highly regulated environment.
