Analyst Report Developer:

A fantastic opportunity has been made available for an Analyst Report Developer to join one of the UK's largest investment banks. This is a permanent position based in Glasgow city centre. In this role you will be part of the capital and risk information team but will be required to work closely with the risk IT team while developing and improving the existing reporting infrastructure (MS SQL Server Databases, SSIS and SSRS for reporting).

As an Analyst Report Developer you will work closely with business users and stakeholders in order to design and develop new reports and processes in order to support the Capital and Risk Information Services platform (SSRS). In this role you will also be required to investigate issues with the current reporting processes while identifying and implementing long term solutions. You will co-ordinate on the development process with new reporting requirements across development, documentation, user acceptance testing through to deployment. As well as this you will facilitate any ad-hoc requests for internal clients while providing guidance on the meaning of and usage of data to the business.

The successful candidate will have previous experience in developing Data Warehouses and reporting tools in the MS stack 9SOL server and MSBI). Although you will work with other IT teams across the business, this roll provides a lot of autonomy so you must be a highly self-motivated individual who has the ability to work independently. As you will be required to liaise with business users and stakeholders you should have strong communication skills both verbal and written.
