Business Change Manager - Contract - 12 months - London- Competitive Rate

My client is seeking to bring on board a Business Change Manager to support the Programme with the planning and delivery management of the rollout of the new capabilities and the accompanying business change to the service units impacted by the change.

Main Tasks

* Establish and maintain the assigned project(s) in line with the Programme's current objectives and Blueprint and other relevant documentation. Plan the delivery of products using a combination of MSP and PRINCE2 processes and approaches, and preparation of relevant project documents at each stage, on behalf of the Programme and in conjunction with the Programme Manager.

* Ensure the activity is managed within the approved governance for the Programme and in line within the protocols.

* Develop and manage a plan to identify, engage with, inform and influence stakeholders to ensure their commitment to successful delivery of the project within the protocols.

What you need to succeed

Skills

* Ability to assimilate, interpret and evaluate information on a wide variety of activities, ensuring that interdependencies and understood and managed

* Ability to produce high quality project documentation

* Ability to communicate with and influence senior and junior staff and stakeholders and build strategic relationships

Desirable

Working knowledge of performance measurement within the public sector / police service / security agencies

Education/Qualifications

Professional Project Management qualification

Professional Business Change qualification.

Experience

* Experience in managing complex projects, within a dynamic environment, and use of formal methodologies

* Experience of delivering business change in a complex environment

* Knowledge of risk management and assessment

* Knowledge of change management

* Knowledge of financial planning and benefits realisation
