My London based client is an Internet of Things platform company using innovative wireless charging technology and machine learning software to create smart sensor networks that deliver tangible business value for customers. They are rapidly growing their technology team and are looking for a Software Project Manager who will work closely with product and software development teams to bring the company's platforms and products to reality.

You'll be an Agile focused manager looking to take responsibility for software development in internal and external teams. As part of this you'll have day to day governance over delivery, planning, people management and budgets and will be the primary driver for software process within the business in order to smooth the delivery of our ideas in to production.

Requirements

*Extensive project management experience in an Agile environment

*A strong communicator, who can lead by example both within the team and the wider business

*Strong project planning and tracking experience

*Experience of overseeing Product releases by coordinating internal resources

*Scrum Master Certification & PMI Certification Preferred

Responsibilities

*Ensure designated projects are flowing smoothly and effectively, using Agile methodology and JIRA to keep projects on track.

*Forecasting and early issue detection with contingency planning and clear communications early and often

*Liaise with all stakeholders managing interdependencies and what effects their actions will have on other projects or teams

*Analyse associated teams and projects to ensure continuous improvements working towards a better framework for future use

*Adapt project management processes and methodology to fit needs of a project and specific team.

*Successfully deliver cross-team feature projects, managing when needs be, all areas of the project lifecycle

*Provide advice and guidance to colleagues on project methodology and process, mentoring them on any necessary areas of improvement

*Effectively document each stage of the process, producing advantageous reports for future reference

*Utilise relevant statistical information to help reflect on project performance and trajectory.

Experience: Required

*Excellent experience with Agile methodologies with working knowledge of Kanban.

*Experience managing JIRA and Confluence instances

*Proven experience delivering cross team feature projects for software or digital media

*A proactive approach and with experience in managing projects of varying sizes and budgets.

*You will have a "We can do it!" attitude with ability to lay out options to the stakeholders and ask for decisions

*Experience of communicating effectively across all levels of the business from developers up to executive level along with proven conflict resolution and negotiation skills.

Experience: Desirable

*Experience of Kanban and Lean project management practices in a software environment

*Working within mobile development focused teams

*Technical background, experience of programming or server infrastructure

*Experience with Bluetooth related software stacks and anything related to IoT
