Junior C# Developer

A Junior C# Developer is required by a London based FinTech start-up. The office is located in Shoreditch, where you would join a team of circa 20 web and back-end/C# developers all working in small, feature led agile teams gaining exposure to hedge fund and investment banking related products. You will be working across client led projects, delivering bespoke functionality based on client requests as well as working on core strategic projects that are more closely related to their "out of the box" solution.

The business has an open environment, with knowledgeable and friendly client facing business consultants working closely with the development teams. You would be working alongside a senior developer in the team, with a good platform to learn and grow your technical and business skills within financial services/trading.

Key skills

* C# .NET / ASP.NET

* Simple use of SQL or any other relational databases

* Ideally exposure to API's, either consuming or building or perhaps someone with knowledge or building RESTful Services that is enthusiastic about working with API's

* Any Javascript/HTML would be useful but not essential

* Ideal experience: circa 2 years of experience but we would consider a graduate

Ideally you'll also be enthusiastic about learning your trade, eager to try new things, open minded and will enjoy solving problems and digging deep into problems to figure things out for yourself

Salary: Up to £50,000

This is an excellent opportunity for a web developer to join a fast growing, established start-up within the FinTech space. The business is extremely friendly but hard working, with very humane working hours - roughly 9-6. There is plenty of room for progression both technically and in terms of business knowledge, and there are both client facing and more purely avenues for you to pursue depending on your preference. The business is always embracing new technologies to stay a step ahead of the competition, for example they are already leveraging Angular2 at the front end. No financial services experience is necessary and a full induction to trading/hedge funds training session will be provided upon joining.
