Job Title: Web Developer

Location: Birmingham (B18)

Salary: £27,000 - £36,000 per annum

Our Client is a forward thinking web and app development agency based in Birmingham's up and coming Jewellery Quarter. Working for them will involve working on a wide range of medium-sized projects for a variety of their clients across a range of different sectors. For them it is all about taking on interesting projects that are fun to work on, often exploring new technologies, frameworks and ways of working. They have a culture of learning and realise that the right person for this role is a candidate that can, and enjoys working in this way too.

Their Development Approach

At the moment they build their backend using PHP frameworks (E.g. Yii2, Laravel, Symphony, CakePHP, etc.). They build the front end side of things using the familiar HTML/CSS/JS stack but nearly always on top of a front-end framework (such as React, AngularJS, Bootstrap, Semantic-UI, etc). Mobile app work is also all web based using React Native or Cordova to allow apps to be built using web languages. They version control projects using GIT.

To be considered you will need

* HTML, CSS, JavaScript (React Native, AngularJS, or similar) and PHP development skills using a framework.

* Must understand MVC programming principles.

* Experience using a web development framework fluently (front and/or back-end).

* Experience developing responsive websites or web apps.

They understand that everyone's skills and specific experience is different so they are more interested in you being able to prove that you can learn quickly and can demonstrate your coding ability.
