Title : Javascript developer/ front end developer

Based in London Piccadilly Circus

Permanent role : salary £60,000- £80,000

Requirements : strengths as a javascript developer, expertise in UX, and UI design alongside superb front end development skills

This role is to join our asset manager client who are thriving. This is a superb unique opportunity as you will be one of only 2 new developer hires within IT, and you will be responsible for JavaScript development of the new system

The system covers risk analytics, pricing and modelling, and they are looking for a backend python engineer, and the JavaScript developer to create the front end

This role is for a front end JavaScript developer with HTML, and CSS with good UX and UI Design and development skills. You will need to bring your JavaScript expertise, but as you will have a lot of ownership and responsibility to design the new system, you will be able to bring what you believe s the best tool for the job. It will thus be a combination of UX and UI Design alongside your core development skills

You will have your own freedom with this JavaScript development, but with this comes the responsibility to actually understand how to create very complex, very responsive user interfaces

You will need to know how you actually release software, as well as having ownership of your own development, testing and support

Requirements

* You need to be intelligence and analytical to suit the asset management environment

* Front-end and back-end Web development experience, with HTML, JavaScript and either Python or Java.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills;

* Motivated and high-level energy;

* Fluency in English. French a plus.
