Embedded Software Developer required to join embedded and firmware development team working on applications using infrared sensors. You should be a Embedded Software Developer with significant experience in C++, embedded Linux development, TCP/IP, socket programming and interfacing with hardware. Embedded Software Developer candidates should have a good science / engineering degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Physics or Maths, graduates (or MSc / PhD graduates) will be considered if they have done a placement or can show significant levels of C++ programming in their studies. This Embedded Software Developer will be working on market leading integrated systems in people detection and tracking and should have excellent technical communication skills and experience in an Agile Scrum environment. Embedded Software Developer candidates should have 2+ years of commercial experience and exposure to any of the following - Git, Python or Bash, automation tools such as Jenkins, or Yocto / buildroot. You must have demonstrable skillls in C++ on embedded Linux platforms and a willingness to gain new skills and technologies.
