Manufacturing Design Engineer (Mechanical/ Special Purpose Machinery)

£40,000 - £50,000 + Training + Progression + Pension + Company Benefits

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer looking for specialist training on special purpose machinery as well as personal development to progress as a Design Manager?

On offer is the opportunity to shadow the Lead Design Engineer and learn from them before they move into retirement, enabling you to progress as a Design Manager.

This company are specialists in the design and supply of sub-assemblies and machinery components for a wide range of manufacturers.

As part of a highly skilled team, you will be trained to design and re-engineer this company's portfolio of bespoke machinery assemblies as well as take control of your own projects from concept to completion.

This role will suit a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience in SolidWorks and AutoCAD looking to train on the design of special purpose machinery as well as progress as a manager.

The Role:

* Design of sub-assemblies for manufacturing machinery (Special Purpose Machinery)

* Ongoing development of current equipment

* 2D CAD / 3D modelling

The Person:

* Mechanical Design Engineer (design for manufacturing)

* SolidWorks and AutoCAD experience

* Experience managing design projects from concept to completion
