Mechanical Design Engineer (Agricultural)

£35,000 Training+ Pension + Medical Healthcare

Excellent opportunity on offer for an Mechanical Design Engineer looking to work on agricultural machinery for a global, family ran business that are rapidly expanding.

Have you had experience designing hydraulic systems and steel work? Can you design in 3D?

This company specialise in the manufacture, sales and service of agricultural machines and that are supplied globally. The company have just acquired permission to build a new facility as they have out grown theirs and this will increase their production by 50%.

In this role the design engineer will be working with all departments following projects through to the end and not afraid to be hands on.

The ideal candidate will have sound technical knowledge of hydraulic, electrical systems and has worked with 3D CAD systems. A candidates that comes from an agricultural background with experience of Solidworks & CAN- bus will be advantageous but not essential as training will be given.

This is a great role for a mechanical design engineer with experience of hydraulic and suspension design, that is looking to work on niche agricultural machinery for a company that have clear growth plans.

The Role:

* Design of agricultural Machines

* Design using 3D CAD Systems

* Hydraulics Design

* Working as part of part of a tight knit highly skilled team

* Working on projects from concept to completion

* Design for manufacture

The Person:

* Mechanical Design Engineer

* Must have 3D Design experience

* Must have experience of Hydraulics and metal work design

* Ideally have experience with Autodesk inventor

* Ideally from a agricultural background
