Technical Program Manager

12 month initial contract

London

£29.08 per hour PAYE

Must haves:

* HTTP, XML, SOAP, REST and API implementation experience

* Experience managing projects with big entities.

Minimum Qualifications:

- BA/BS degree in Engineering or a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Experience in internet technologies, such as HTTP, TCP/IP, JSON and XML to enable API integrations between systems.

- Client-facing experience.

- Excellent project management skills and attention to detail, with ability to prioritize and work well in an environment with competing demands.

- Excellent written and verbal business communication skills, with ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Technical and commercial knowledge of operator network topology and architecture.

- Experience working in a senior IP network planning or implementation role at an ISP, telecoms operator, carrier or CDN.

- Experience in the telecommunications industry.

- Experience in networking technologies

- Strong data-driven analytical and problem solving skills.

- Willing to travel.

- As a Technical Project Manager you lead complex, multidisciplinary projects.

- You plan requirements with internal stakeholders, and external partners, and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle.

- This includes managing project schedules, working with partners on deployment, identifying opportunities and risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders while driving releases and improving our ability to execute with precision.

- Your projects often span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and it's your job to keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.

- The Technical Project Manager role in London is key to coordination of our partner resources to bring multiple products and markets to fruition on time, with a high level of quality.

- This will be achieved through the design and implementation of scalable, repeatable process and project tracking.

Responsibilities:

- Demonstrate project management skills including, but not limited to, creating schedules / task / resource assignments, identifying critical path, managing action items & check-lists, communicating status reports and creating meeting agendas.

- Manage the full life-cycle of a well-defined project.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure tasks are completed and updates are well-communicated in a timely fashion.

- Administer and coordinate assigned tasks without supervision according to project plan.

- Clear and effective written and verbal communications.

- Able to summarize tasks and record concise meeting notes.
