Proteus Europe is searching for a Dutch Speaking Front-End Developer for our client based in Ghent, Belgium

Our Client :-

Our client is a Flemish governmental organisation located in the beautiful and historic city of Ghent.

Task :-

Our client is seeking a front-end developer for the further development of functionalities and operational management of a quality control system for monitoring structured data in bulk to replace several outdated quality control (Project GECKO).

- Technical context Angular2 client using ASP.NET Web API REST services and integrates with OpenLayers for visualizing and annotating large volumes of geographic and / or structured data

- OAuth 2.0 security

- Development in Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code via Git and Visual Studio Team Services

The project GECKO - Generic Quality supports the Flemish authentic data sources in quality control for structured data, delivered in bulk under centralized management data sources.

As part of the Flemish Basic Registry - Basemap Flanders (GRB) is developing a tool for quality urgent: the current quality control tool is adaptable to needs of new processes As Built. The Flemish base register Roads Registry calculates its central management tool for the quality control of data.

Additional job information will be developed according to the SCRUM Agile principles. As a developer you will work closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team.

You will report to lead developer, business analyst and project manager of the team.

Example Tasks

o User stories technical development and implementation.

o Writing of unit testing and integration testing.

o Active participation in daily standup meetings SCRUM.

o Participation in backlog grooming sessions.

o fixing bugs.

o Conducting technical discussions with the lead developer.

o Answers to questions from users of the client.

Additional job information will be developed according to the SCRUM Agile principles. As a developer you will work closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team.

You will report to lead developer, business analyst and project manager of the team.

Deliverables

o Well structured, maintainable and fully tested code according to the agreements made.

o Check code with appropriate commentary.

o Updating of technical and sometimes functional release notes.

o Development of technical documentation.

o Substantive support for the elaboration of the user stories develop.

You can provide the desired functionality in a smooth manner in a user-friendly web application, taking into account the recommendations of the UX designer. (10 Years)

You treat all major modern browsers in a similar manner and provides a secure application that can withstand interruptions of connectivity. (10 Years)

You visualize large amounts of geographic information without bothering feeling delays for the end user. (10 Years)
