Junior RF IC Design Engineer - Netherlands

This is a new opportunity for a Junior RF IC Design Engineer to join a company working on ultra low power Analog and RF IC circuits for consumer devices.

In this position you will be:

*Performing detailed transistor-level circuit design in CMOS, including design capture, simulation, layout design, layout guidance, and design documentation.

*Designing and developing system architecture for ultra-low-power RF IC applications.

*Translating system-level requirements to block-level specifications.

*Participating in system-level modelling and simulation design activities.

*Design verification of new architectures and circuits such as RX/TX, LNAs and filters.

*Validating IC design by laboratory tests and measurements.

*Supporting product engineering to meet volume production needs.

*Supporting application engineering to meet customer needs.

Masters or PhD degree qualified in Microelectronics or Electrical Engineering the successful applicant will ideally have a minimum of 1 year in RF IC Design with experience in the following blocks: LNAs, VCOs, Mixers, high frequency dividers. Excellent knowledge of the relevant CAD tools and IC design verification methodology is required along with strong communication, reporting and presentation skills in English.

Experience is required in some or all of the following;

*RF system design

*Cadence design tools

*Wireless standards such as: Bluetooth, Zigbee, GPS.

*Physical design and verification including LVS, DRC, Density, DFM, Antenna fixes, ESD, signal integrity, and electro-migration.

*Knowledgeable in modeling RF/Analog circuits and hardware description languages such as Verilog-A.

*Digital implementation.

*Scripting and automation using Unix/Linux shell.
