UX/UI Designer, User Experience Designer, User Interface Designer, Senior UX/UI Designer.

Based in Devon, our client, a leading technology company specialising in the education and teaching sector, are currently seeking a UX/UI Designer to join their expanding and unique team of digital professionals.

The successful UX/UI Designer who is looking for this next step in their career will need to share a passion for education and a belief in their ability to improve the sector for future generations moving forward. This is truly a unique opportunity to become an essential member of the team and help create visually pleasing and engaging user centred web and mobile interfaces and platforms.

Key Requirements:

A relevant bachelors degree

An excellent portfolio

Experience with UI design patterns and standard User-Centered Design methodologies

Strong eye for aesthetics, typography, layout, grid systems, colour theory etc

Exposure to design tools such as Adobe CS, Creative Cloud suites, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Fireworks, Sketch etc

Good knowledge of front end Technologies such as HTML5 and CSS3

Able to integrate UX into Agile environment

Knowledge of JavaScript, Bootstrap, jQuery, AngularJS, D3.js, HighCharts highly desirable
