My client is looking for a C#/ASP.net Developer to join an established development team based in Swindon. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience developing c#/asp.net/ADO.net software applications, and be comfortable with secure web and web based applications. A solid understanding of database programming (SQL Server), WPF and Agile design techniques are also required.
More Key skills:
- Solid experience (1-3 years) in a commercial engineering group using object oriented programming techniques, with experience of distributed secure web and web service based applications, with Microsoft.NET, C#, ASP.NET/ADO.NET.
- OR Recent high calibre graduate with exposure to C#.NET, C++ or Java.
- Solid understanding of database programming and architectures for multi-user systems (ideally SQL Server, but Oracle, MySQL or similar).
- Solid understanding of scalability design techniques, threading and event handling.
- Understanding of messaging protocols and security protocols and related design issues.
- Exposure to common design patterns and methodologies.
