SAP Supply Chain Analyst

Our successful, well renowned, global client are looking for a junior SAP Supply Chain Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. The SAP Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for supporting the needs of the business by providing SAP expertise, for documenting the current business processes and working with other members of the team to deliver

process improvements. This is a great opportunity for any SAP Supply Chain Analysts who are looking to rapidly progress their SAP knowledge and career in general.

SAP Supply Chain Analyst - Key Skills:

* 3+ years of experience working within an SAP based manufacturing environment.

* SAP Configuration experience.

* An effective understanding of production process technology and logistics related processes.

* History of SAP achievement within at least one of the functional area of the Supply Chain and a general knowledge of the other functional areas.

* Ability to provide technical guidance and new process solutions within the Production, Quality and Logistics functions.

* Understands the principles and processes of effective communication/presentation and when/how to apply them in all aspects of the role.

* Effectively partner with various teams in creating and executing test plans for new implementations and identifying business process gaps where improvements can be made.

* Ability to guide and influence others including Managers and Operatives to adopt processes and new technology solutions.

* Understands the principles and processes of effective communication and how to apply them, such that it will enhance confidence and commitment for SAP throughout the business.

* Ability to demonstrate processes, enhance understanding and encourage the audience to embrace the benefits of SAP.

* Able to competently complete key activities related to SAP modules MM and/or PP, including fault diagnosis and problem resolution.

* Experience of interfaces inbound and outbound to SAP. Familiarity of using iDocs and FTP servers would be beneficial

SAP Supply Chain Analyst - Requirements:

* Become the UK expert in MM and PP, plus act as the primary contact for SAP production related issues.

* Investigate interfaces issues between SAP and external systems: MARCO, PREACTOR, etc.

* Effectively resolve issues generated through Help Desk tickets as assigned. Take ownership of assigned calls and see through to successful resolution user problems and be proactive when dealing with user issues.

* Escalate more involved problems to the appropriate second and third line support members potentially including third party suppliers.

* To collaboratively work with the various Departments to define, document and implement new processes and software requirements.

* Focusing on the MM, PP, QM and SD functions, work locally with the business users to understand how SAP can improved business processes and maximise operational efficiencies.
