North Kent Police Station

Monday to Friday, covering core hours between 0800 - 1600hrs

Temporary Contract up to 12 months

Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to undertake the role of Senior Project Manager. Applications are invited from qualified and experienced candidates.

This is a challenging role that requires the successful candidate to demonstrate a track record in the successful delivery of projects within Government or the Public Sector. Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Driving a wide ranging collaborative project forward in a structured manner;

The effective management of risks and issues;

Developing effective collaborative relationships with stakeholders to ensure that operational needs are understood and incorporated into the delivery plans;

Regular reporting to the Deputy Programme Manager, Programme Director and the Project Board and stakeholders;

Management of a team of project resources;

In your application the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate experience of: project management; business planning; internal consultancy; risk management; knowledge of the police environment; resource management.

Applicants will need to provide evidence of the following qualifications/experience in their application:

Degree (or equivalent qualifications or experience). Must be able to evidence at least two years proven track record of successful project delivery.

PRINCE 2 Practitioner but as a minimum PRINCE 2 Foundation.
