Working closely with the Council’s Chief Executive and the Corporate Head of Strategy, this is an exciting opportunity to undertake a range of corporate projects that could be a stepping stone to further career progression. You will undertake a range of tasks from policy and service reviews to change management projects that will involve leading internal teams and possibly working with partner agencies when required. You will also be involved in driving a corporate approach to project management throughout the Council which will involve developing a Council-wide approach and delivering training to underpin our strategy and culture.

Educated to degree level and with a background in project management, you will need to be adaptable, be able to work under pressure and to tight timescales, be a good communicator and logical thinker. A track record of successful delivery of tangible outcomes for the organisation is sought. A qualification in project management whilst not essential is desirable.
