The department IT Infrastructure Solutions is providing IT infrastructure Services and develops new advanced infrastructure services. Services include Data center services, IAAS, Cloud, Connectivity, Telecom, Workplace, Collaboration and Identity and Access management. The operational services are provided by global external partners.

The department Workplace and Unified communication is looking for a Telecom Architect

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Architect works on the world of tomorrow.

He/she deploys a vision and provides technological direction and guidance for the services in her/his scope in order to:

. Accelerate delivery

. Increase efficiency

. De-risk operations

. Be secure by design

COMPLEXITY OF THE ROLE

. Many stakeholders both internal and external;

. Changing environment (Merger and Acquisitions, New Services, change Service provider, new IT Integrated Services Management model);

. Customer satisfaction versus global standards;

. Multi-cultural and international organization;

. Alignment with other areas (globalization);

. Influencing without hierarchical authority;

. Continuous alignment with global services;

. Planning of activities: longer term activities versus ad-hoc (escalations).

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES

. Define technology standards and future state for Workplace (End User Computing)

. Creation and maintenance of reference architectures: design directives, standards, solution building blocks

. Creation and maintenance of technology roadmaps

. Research, cost-justify and drive technological improvements

. Liaise with enterprise architecture to assure overall fit and integration

. Act as solution architect for Workplace within projects and programs

. Analyze, design, review and/or approve technical solutions - assurance of compliance with directives, standards and guidelines

. Supervise implementations of solutions - in accordance with design

. Coach and/or manage project architects

. Maintain design documentation

. Maintenance of design documents within domain - assure completeness and integrity

Essential Skills :-

. Direct experience with Workplace (End User Computing): hardware/software lifecycle, imaging, operating systems, backend infrastructure, printing

- Solutions include Microsoft Windows-based technologies, System Center Configuration Manager, Office 365, file shares, Active Directory Services

. 3 years of experience designing and implementing IT architectures

. Knowledge of and experience with defining and implementing architecture requirements: performance, maintainability, extendibility, scalability, availability, security and accessibility

. Knowledge of and experience with IT architecture methodologies and processes (e.g. TOGAF) and service management methods and processes (ITIL)

. Knowledge of and experience with service management, life cycle management and service catalogue;

. Knowledge of and experience with IT infrastructure development and operations;

. Knowledge of and experience service management methods, frameworks (ITIL certification) and ITSM Tooling.
