£30'000-£40'000 + Pension + Overtime + 28 days holiday

Excellent opportunity for an Electrical Design Engineer to join a company that will offer you a varied and technically challenging role where you can play a major part in this company's growth and development.

Based in Bristol this progressive and expanding company specialise in the design, manufacture and service of control panels that are supplied across a variety of industries.

In this role the Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for the production and coordination of outline and detailed Design Drawings on Control Panels & MCC's and providing an overall design package to our Production Team.

The ideal candidates will have experience as an Electrical Design Engineer and have experience designing control panels or switchgears.

The role:

*Electrical design engineering of Switchgear and control panels.

*Ascertaining Clients requirements either through reference to their specification documents or more through visiting sites with their nominated personnel.

*Reporting to the Design Manager to ensure scheme designs are value engineered and adhere to client specifications whilst retaining appropriate levels of operational security and full compliance with all relevant Health, Safety and Environmental legislation.

*To provide outline and detailed engineering from inception to completion of schemes utilizing our design partners, in-house resources, site services and construction personnel.

*To ensure all design work is completed to agreed programs and KPI's.

The person:

*Have experience as an electrical design engineer.

*Ideally hold ONC/HNC/B.Eng in electrical engineering.

*The ability to use AutoCAD.

*WSCAD experience would be a distinct advantage
