Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer from a Manufacturing background looking for specialist training within a fast growing company where you will have the opportunity to progress and technically develop within a niche industry?

On offer is the chance to work on bespoke projects within a well-renowned design and manufacture company who offer opportunities to technically progress and develop through expert training.

This company has been established for almost 200 years and boast an outstanding reputation for quality and reliability within a competitive niche market.

They specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of a wide range state-of-the-art bespoke electrical and electronic equipment for a number of well-renowned naval and marine clients.

You will be working within a close-knit team from the Birmingham office. On a day-to-day basis you will be design a range of products from concept in order to meet clients tailored requirements through the use of SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD.

This role would suit an Mechanical Design Engineer looking to specialise within a high-quality expanding company who offer opportunities for training, development and progression.

THE ROLE:

*Design products from concept using customer specification or market requirement

*Using 3D SOLIDWORKS & 2D AutoCAD software.

*Production of 3d modelled solutions resulting in general arrangement, detail manufacturing drawings and Bills of Material.

THE PERSON:

*Mechanical Design Engineer.

*Experience using SOLIDWORKS and AutoCAD.

*Experience with Sheet Metal.
