Our client is leading a new generation of energy providers with a fresh outlook and a unique way of doing business. They’re always looking for ways to improve the world of energy and they have recently acquired an exciting business that is transforming the future of the electric grid. Now, our client is looking for a Project Co-ordinator to join their team on a six month, fixed-term contract.

Currently, the company’s main product is a novel, advanced control device for residential electric storage heaters. This device will provide greater comfort for occupants and significant energy savings for customers.

As a Project Co-ordinator, you’ll support the roll-out of this equipment in social housing as part of a major project funded by the Scottish government.

In this varied role, you’ll provide on-site training to installation contractors, oversee logistics and equipment deliveries and provide hands-on support to ensure that our client’s technology is successfully installed.

Specifically, you will:

- Define and document operational procedures

- Build and manage stakeholder relationships, including social landlords, tenants, the Product Team and installation partners

- Provide on-site and remote technical support for local contractors during installations

- Ensure adherence to company procedures

- Co-ordinate post-installation inspections

Interested? To be considered, you’ll need:

- Construction, electrical or other engineering experience

- General electrical installation experience, ideally including electric heating

- A background in electrical, mechanical or energy related engineering projects

- Experience of managing subcontractors to KPIs

- Proven project management abilities

- A high level of IT literacy

Highly organised and analytical, as a Project Co-ordinator, you’ll be able to plan and manage a schedule. You’ll also have an adaptable, flexible approach and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
