Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Manchester

Daily Rate: £205

Duration: 3 Months rolling contract

Start: ASAP

My global client a world leader in its industry has an urgent requirement for an experienced dynamic Project Manager to join an innovative project on a long term contract. The successful IT Project manager must posses a passion for technology and have excellent communication skills as you will be liaising with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. Project work-streams will be focused on using current and future technology to solve real world problems and driving innovation within the public domain.

Essential skills & Experience:

* Demonstrable experience within a Project Management, Project Co-Ordinator or Junior Project management function

* Experience of structured project management methodologies - Prince 2, Waterfall, Agile

* A passion for Technology and Innovation

* A dynamic mind with a creative flair

* Excellent communicator - possess the ability to liaise and manage internal & external stakeholders at all levels of businesses from SME's to Enterprise level clients

* Drive the project forward and secure "buy in" from team members & stakeholders.

* Fully conversant with MS Project and the Microsoft Office suite

* Be able to explain complex technical issues in simple business language for all audiences

* Suggest process improvements, "As is" "To be" scenarios, Best practices, to Iron out the pain points of today

* Manage project logs, budgets, costs effectively * Be able to run and facilitate workshops and requirement gathering
