Helpdesk support engineer

Location: Hertford

Daily rate: £70ph - 11.00ph

Duration: 4 weeks

Helpdesk Support Engineer - We are actively seeking an immediately available 1st line support Engineer to be a Helpdesk Technical resource for an exciting entertainments and AV company based in Hertford.

You will be required to deliver excellent customer service in providing 1st line support to the end client's IT system and users.

The role of the Helpdesk Support Engineer

* Be the 1st line technical point of contact for all IT support issues.

* Ensure that all technology services run reliably and perform optimally.

* Monitor systems and provide proactive support.

* Analyse the use of technology within the business and recommend improvements where appropriate.

* Ensure all technology solutions are fully documented.

* Using service desk software to effectively manage all support requests.

Key skills for the Helpdesk Support Engineer

* Extensive experience in a 1st Line support role.

* Excellent customer service

* Knowledge of IT support technologies

* Basic networking skills including an understanding of WIFI networks

* Windows OS

* Android OS

* ability to create VPNs and have basic knowledge of TCP/IP

* knowledge of internal PC components
