Head of Software Delivery/Project Manager / Central London / CakePHP / Workflow / Node.js / Agile I am currently on the lookout for a Head of Software Delivery/Lead Developer/Project Manager to join my client based in Belgravia, Central London. They are looking to pay up to £70,000 for the ideal candidate, do you think this could be the role for you?Company Overview:My client is one of the leading management platforms for it's particular industry and they support 100's of clients. Their clients range from start-ups to large well know companies. You will be leading a team of developers that are working on a number of innovative software products, building them from the ground up so this is your opportunity to become part of something special.Role summary:Based in the London office, the Lead Developer/Project Manager will lead Agile based sprints with a development team of 6 staff. The team will be working on their latest software application, in an Agile environment, using continuous delivery and TDD / BDD processes to deliver high quality software. They will be largely working on a LAMP based technology stack, using the CakePHP framework, and Node.js for background services.Responsibilities:

'€¢Leading a team of six developers for a workflow management system that is cloud-based.'€¢Facilitate Software Specification sessions, define requirements, plan resources and timelines for Agile sprints to deliver to specified deadlines.'€¢Management of the software development process, from start to finish. Including producing specifications, hands on development, testing/bug fixing and liaison with stakeholders ready for deployment.'€¢Establishing, controlling and maintaning the software development processes'€¢Building on the development environment Making sure to always be working with the most up to date tools and methods.'€¢Ensure extensive Quality Assurance processes are established

Technical Requirements

'€¢PHP SOLID design principals'€¢Experience with up to date software development methodologies'€¢Proven experience of working in an Agile environment'€¢Experience in resolving complex issues around PHP, java, node.js, SQL and cloud-based security issues'€¢Understanding of office workflows and document driven processes'€¢Experience in object oriented development design and coding methods and relational database concepts'€¢PHP frameworks (CAKEPHP is the main one used here)

Management Skills

'€¢Evidence of having delivered complex projects for sophisticated corporate clients to required deadlines'€¢Experience in project management'€¢Team leader skills; this must be evidenced in past projects'€¢Strong communication skills verbal and in writing to enable'€¢Having the right combination of a 'can- do' approach, strong work ethic, a hunger to succeed and client focus'€¢Well organised, punctual, detailed and accurate, can work quickly to tight deadlines
