Accountability: Reports to EU, PCC Supply Chain Director (GM)

Position Overview: The European Logistics Manager of Logistics is responsible for the logistics, warehousing and distribution for all materials and products imported to, distributed in or exported from Europe. This position is responsible for trade compliance, GMP and GDP good distribution practices in our EU Logistics operations. This position requires solid knowledge of SAP, business processes, logistics, brokerage, customs, controlled substances, warehouse and distribution functions and European Logistics.

The scope of duties includes:

* Manage the inbound and outbound logistics, brokerage, customs, 3PL and distribution functions to ensure goods are at the right place at the right time at the lowest possible cost.

* Responsibility for the management of inbound and outbound freight across a number of manufacturing and distribution operations. This will involve managing carriers across sea, air and road freight and the associated commercial and operational aspects of doing so.

* Generate and Manage all relevant documentation for Outbound and Inbound logistics across EU hubs

* On a day to day basis ensure that transportation continually delivers safe, low-cost, high quality and on-time deliveries through direct management of our internal transport operations

* Working closely with all cross-functional disciplines to identify and resolve logistics needs/opportunities and their impact on the entire supply chain, managing stakeholder's expectations and ensuring the logistics operation delivers on its promises.

* Conduct EU Logistics activities and oversee Warehouse operations

* Develop and manage the variable and fixed logistics budgets.

* Manage distribution of all products imported to, distributed in or exported from Europe

* Identify and work with Clearing and Forwarding agents for inbound and outbound logistics

* Negotiate carrier rates, services and contracts

* Work with shipping lines across all mode of shipments

* Identify, develop and implement distribution cost savings projects.

* Responsible for managing 3rd Party Logistics Provider (3PL) services, including contractual oversight.

* Responsible to develop, publish and manage the Logistics EU MIS

* Working closely with Vaporizer Operations, oversee vaporizer logistics and distribution in EU

* Insure compliance with all EU logistical regulations

* Insure GDP compliance of all distribution in and from the EU

* Manages/executes transport validation studies when required

* Investigates GMP, GDP and Narcotics deviations when required

* Supports all EU investigations involving Logistics

* Investigates and resolves problems involving Logistics and Distribution

* Administers the site Trade Compliance program for Logistics

* Manages Logistics projects, relating to process improvement efforts (cold-chain, technology, etc…)

* Handle special projects as required, especially involving Logistics, Warehousing, Shipping and SAP

Requirements:

* Bachelors degree in applicable field (Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Business or preferred); MBA or Graduate level Supply Chain degree preferred.

* Minimum eight years' European pharmaceutical experience in Logistics and/or Supply Chain

* Five+ years SAP experience is highly desirable

* Well-versed in warehousing, distribution, logistics and GDP principles and practices

* Strong knowledge of European import/export pharmaceutical regulations

* RP certification a plus

* Experience distributing controlled substances is required.

* Expert in Global Logistics - Road, Sea & Ocean

* Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) and Project Management Skills

* Highly motivated and results-driven
