What will you be doing? 

As a Support Analyst / Engineer, you will be tasked with support a global customer base in their use of our client’s software and solutions. This is an exciting Support Analyst role that will see you work as part of a team to deliver global, 24-hour support to libraries on an international scale. 

Focusing on providing quality service, you will work with Librarians and library staff across Europe regarding their technical issues. 

Your role will also involve: 

- Working with colleagues from other department to resolve their issues 

- Providing a consultation service to customers 

- Resolving complex issues for our client’s web-based app 

- Supporting our client’s large-scale library management system 

About you: 

To be considered as a Support Analyst / Engineer, you will need: 

- Prior experience of providing software support 

- Customer service expertise 

- Strong problem solving abilities 

- A tech-savvy mentality 

- A service-oriented attitude 

Knowledge and experience of libraries or library systems would be beneficial to your application. Experience of the following would also be advantageous: Apache Tomcat, JBoss, web services and web application support, HTML or CSS, SQL, HTTP/HTTPS, Unix and/or Linux. 

Our client is interested in hearing from candidates who have held the role of Software Support Analyst, Helpdesk Engineer, Application Support Technician, Software Support Engineer, 1st Line Support Engineer, or Helpdesk Analyst. 

Additionally, other organisations may title this role IT Support Analyst, IT Support Engineer, Technical Support Analyst, Application Support Analyst, or 1st Line Analyst.
