Our client, a leading South African retail and ecommerce company with national presence across South Africa are currently looking for a Senior Magento developer to join their team. The client, one of the biggest online stores and fastest growing eCommerce companies in South Africa are growing exponentially and need to bring in a technical project manager. The idea candidate will have previous experience as a technical project manager, Scrum Master or Product owner and will have previously worked in development as a developer or as part of the development team in a project management or product owner capacity and have experience working in the eCommerce environment. The ideal candidate will be able to come in and immediately hit the ground running as there will be a lot of responsibility in helping the development team with upcoming projects due to the fast paced environment of the company. Solid business acumen and understanding of business processes is a must for this position and within an eCommerce environment is highly advantageous. Skills:

High level of experience of technical/software project management

High level of experience with in a fast-paced eCommerce environment

Agile/Scrum methodology

Business acumen and knowledge of business processes

Understanding of programming principles

Strong mathematical skills

Software knowledge of Magento/Slack/Jira/Google Analytics

Desirable:

A university degree in Computer Science or a related subject

Previous development experience is a bonus

Ability to work under pressure
