The role:

The successful candidate will be reporting (as part of a much wider team) to the head of Programmes. They will be responsible for end to end management of projects and be responsible for identifying the key deliverables of projects. The role will see the successful candidates working as part of a much wider project team and be passionate about supporting: Project Plans, understanding potential risks associated with projects, and support the successful implementation of projects.

The ideal candidates for this role will have an understanding of the software development lifecycle or previous experience working with developers. The company uses a range of technology stacks including: .NET, Java, Node.JS, JavaScript or any others. Candidates do not need to have software development experience.

Key responsibilities:

*Understanding project scopes and deliverables

*Working with Software Development teams to understand projects

*Signing off project plans and documentation

*Managing the progress of projects

*Monitoring any risks associated with projects

*Delivering projects within required time scales

*Communicating with company stakeholders

Key skills & experience:

*Previous Project Management experience is essential for this role

*An appreciation of the Software Development Lifecycle (no specific development experience required)

*Strong organisational skills

There is no official travel associated with this role however employees may be required from time to time to travel to other company offices which are all based in the West Midlands.

This is a great opportunity to join an established, yet rapidly growing organisation through an exciting period of change. The salary on offer for this position is £40,000 - £50,000 plus and excellent company benefits package.

The working hours are 37.5 hours per week.
