Technical Support Engineer - Permanent - Birmingham - (up to 35k)

I am currently looking for a talented Technical Support Engineer to join a global provider of technology systems and solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the following core operating system environments and hardware platforms:- HP DL360 DL380, Windows Server 2003, 2008, Windows XP, Windows 7, OSX, HP Laptops and Desktops (Various) and iOS, Android and performing remote support via telephone/email and using remote support tools to access custom systems.

Other skills I'm looking for, strong administration experience with:

·SharePoint

·Microsoft Exchange 2007, 2010

·VMware ESXi (implementation/migration is also ideal)

·WSUS/WDS

·Backup Exec 2012,2010

·SCCM

·Office 365 (implementations)

Essentially I am looking for a dynamic technical support person with extensive multi-vendor and multi-technology experience, the role will be a mixture of supporting the internal network and infrastructure including hardware, communications and operating systems. The successful candidate will be working with Internal IT Integration Managers on the implementation of projects. Some of the essential experience you will bring to this role is experience of hardware installation and configuration, applying software updates and also Active Directory Design and administration
